Designing a game that will help businesses successfully develop and launch products.
Taking the participants/players through the entire UX strategy process.
Anyone within a business structure should be able to understand and participate.
We defined the structure of the game by deciding how to play it, creating game levels, what those levels would look like and the achievements needed to move forward within the game.
What the cards content should include and how the players interact with them.
The primary focus being to test the viability of ideas in the real world, we needed to think of the players journey like a workflow where the resulting datas would be usable.
I designed 3 different branding options reflecting the brief of the project.
As the game is built for participants/players at all levels within a business structure, the UI should be accessible and not intimidating.
After the branding validation,
I designed all the game cards. Each one visually tells a story that represents its purpose and helps the players to identify it quickly.
The game can be played with or without a board map, so the design of a map example serves as a guide for the participants on "how to" place the tokens and structure the game experience.
Each card/token represents a state or an action. They are all grouped by levels 1, 2 and 3.
A sub-group of "bonus tokens" can be used at all levels.
These types of cards represent the achievement of one game level. Graphics need to be strong and impactful.
Part of a necessary group of cards to advance in the game. The visual must easily explain the card's purpose.
Important but not essential, the use of colours and graphics are more generic for this group of cards.
